WHY DID WE CREATE ‘UNWRAPPING HALLOWEEN’?
While resources have been requested, we also saw a gap. The occasion suits wise and fun storytelling, that is both gentle and not too pointed. This has value in catalysing understanding, trust, interest and conversation. There are histories contrasting darkness with light that churches could beneficially and meaningfully connect with audiences. Many seem to have been unaware.
The booklet is therefore an education tool for both church and non-church audiences. Other parallel tools are also being created.
