The NEW Vision Tour

In 2019 Tony Collis will be traveling as a representative of the Shining Lights Trust, offering to share fresh vision with city/town pastors’ groups.

For this years ‘Fresh Vision’ Tour will include:

In a one-hour pastors’ group meeting

1. ENCOURAGING INTENTIONALITY TO FACILITATE LOCAL CHURCH GROWTH: Input (for discussion) on  intentional strategies for growing churches through mobilising members as witnesses (with free resources).

2. GIVING THE CHURCH A NATIONAL VOICE: The widest-reaching gospel effort in your community again this year will likely be the Hope Project. We’ update briefly on this ground-breaking effort that is restoring a Christian voice to Christmas and Easter.  how can churches benefit? How can churches support? How can pastors’ groups collaborate to best-impact their community?

3. Godtalk.nz: GROWING YOUTH MINISTRIES BY HELPING YOUTH REACH YOUTH: 85% of those who come to faith do so before the age of 20. We want churches to see their youth ministries growing again through connecting with new youth. We will share on the national Godtalk youth initiative, which started as a result of feedback from your pastors’ groups, is connected to 250 youth ministries, and is still growing.

4. GETTING MORE CHILDREN IN TO NZ CHURCHES: To share and discuss the ‘1 million children’ vision – to see every church-based children’s effort doubling in size.

In the evening:

If you are willing, Tony will meet with all Christian children’s workers to encourage them, and to inspire fresh vision for this important area of local church work.

NO QUEENSTOWN OR WANAKA MEETING THIS YEAR

Our unity together doesn’t mean we have to be in the same room. It means we live and work to the same goal and values. We believe there could be profound power in this – if strategically applied.
