Pastors’ groups in 50 or more cities and towns nationally to feed a conversation about the potential and function of our unity
…for the same reason. See the four objectives near the top of the homepage at Godtalk.nz. Our goal is not to draw them to ourselves – but to each other. We believe this will be catalytic for many groups of youth leaders, delivering new results for you in the years to come!
We would likely then offer a Saturday morning mini-conference (3 hours. 4 topics + Q&A) to enable strategic input related to outreach in relation to unity, conversation, cultural change, youth, small groups, democracy and more.
We then offer this idea – to which Dave could bring a proactive yet inspiring and practical message on the topic of ‘the potential of our unity’.
The question here is whether the spirit and idea of this combined service resonates with pastors’ groups in that province. There are no obligations. We believe our role is to encourage and catalyse new thinking, to enable new things. Stated bluntly – our role is not to control. We are not attempting even to lead. We encourage. It is you who are responsible before God for the unity and work of God’s Church that you are leaders in in your city or town!
THE KAUPAPA: To facilitate a genuinely nation-wide conversation purposed see a united church engaging more wisely and strategically in its mission in this fast-changing and increasingly challenging cultural environment.
DATES AND PLACES: Starting mid-April in the South Island, working northward, concluding in Northland late August/early September.
